  • VC with conflicts: Investors in surveillance capitalism
  • Government agencies: That conduct mass surveillance
  • Strings attached: Any funding that compromises mission

Decision-Making Process

RFC Process

All technical decisions follow an open RFC (Request for Comments) process:

  1. Draft: Initial proposal published for community review
  2. Discussion: Public comment period (minimum 30 days)
  3. Revision: Updates based on feedback
  4. Approval: Final decision by technical leadership
  5. Implementation: Reference implementation and testing
